Description
Job Title: Commercial Excellence Specialist
Main Purpose of Role:
The Commercial Excellence Specialist role will support the overall Commercial Excellence team for client’s business unit.
- The role will be assisting the Global Commercial Excellence team with project management in support of various organizational initiatives.
- This role will lead cross-functional projects to improve commercial operations, drive sales performance and implement new strategies and tools.
- The role will be responsible for project management including tracking deliverables, timelines, organizational alignment, impact assessments, creation and maintenance of project management reporting and overall execution of projects from initiation to closure.
- This role will support and collaborate with other functions including Sales, Demand Planning, Global Project Management Organization, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Regulatory Affairs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic projects from end-to-end by defining clear goals & objectives, establishing structured projects plans and manage project timelines to ensure on-time success.
- Contribute to the design and development of each continuous improvement project to aid in development of solutions & decision making.
- Host and lead project meetings with cross functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, change management and on-time delivery of projects.
- Monitor risk assessments and ensure success of projects by being a facilitator in removing challenges or obstacles.
- Lead change to drive improvement through change management within the commercial organization
- Analyze and research large amounts of data to prepare senior leadership reports, share insights with partners, and presentations to support decision-making.
- Establish and track Project KPIs to measure success
Education:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in one of the following areas: Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance and/or related Business or Commercial experience
Skills:
- Strong project management skills and stakeholder management
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills for large amounts of data
- High organizational skills and be able to manage multiple priorities at a time
- Strong MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint and PowerBI skills
- Proficiency with project management software and tools
- Lean Six Sigma Training/Certification preferred
- Knowledge of Agile Development Methodology preferred
