What You Will Achieve
As a member of the Pfizer BioMedicine Design team, you'll play a critical role in generating critical biophysical/analytical data to support the discovery of biotherapeutics with optimal properties as well as identifying liabilities to guide optimization and engineering designs. In this role, you will contribute towards the selection of high quality biotherapeutics using established biophysical and analytical techniques.
How You Will Achieve It

Learn and perform physicochemical, thermal and colloidal stability assessment of biotherapeutic candidates using a suite of established assays

Perform data analysis to inform selection of optimal lead biotherapeutic molecules as well as providing input to the molecule optimization processes

Participate in activities to improve work efficiency and throughput within the group

Proper documentation of experiments in electronic notebook

Present results regularly at group and/or team meetings.

Work closely with peers to meet deadlines and project goals.
Qualifications
Must-Have
-
BA/BS with 0-2 year of experience in the relevant biochemistry or biophysics field
-
Proficient with micro pipetting and a solid foundation of general scientific practices
-
Knowledgeable with various analytical techniques such as aSEC, iCE and cGE
-
Keen attention to detail (analytical-minded) and ability to multi-task efficiently
-
Ability to learn new techniques quickly and follow established protocols with precision
-
Perform tasks under close supervision with frequent review of results
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $54,700.00 to $91,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
