Description

Location: Fully Onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Potential to Convert to Full-Time

 

Summary:

  • We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Outside Sales Trainee to support local sales efforts and gain hands-on experience in customer interaction, technical coordination, and outside sales development.
  • This is a fully onsite role with light local travel and the opportunity to grow into a full-time outside sales position.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support sales reps by visiting customer sites (local travel, ~5%)
  • Handle inbound customer calls and assist with product questions
  • Communicate with technicians on the warehouse floor to verify parts and service needs
  • Coordinate customer service tasks using Salesforce and Microsoft Office
  • Participate in outside sales training and learn key product terminology (e.g., Goodwin Flight Pumps)
  • Prepare for field travel: Must obtain DOT medical card and have a valid MVR
  • Follow safety protocols and wear PPE including safety boots

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of Salesforce experience required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills (phone-based work included)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to work in a sales-focused role with a hands-on approach
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/shop environment
  • Knowledge of site plans, construction management, and dewatering pump terminology is a plus.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Safety boots required (PPE will be provided as needed)
