Description
3rd shift work – on training first 2-3 months on 1st shift and 2ndshift after that will move to 3rd shift – candidate must available for all shift based in customer needs.
Special Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.
- Responsible for conducting visual inspections based on acceptance and rejection criteria for attributes in the areas of compression, coating, and printing/sorting of tablets.
- Responsible for reviewing the documentation of the 'in-process' compression test alignment.
- Conduct 'line clearance' verification for the final packaging lines.
- Handle archive and return samples sent by customers for products manufactured at APL.
- This includes receiving samples, assigning locations, and storing them according to their storage conditions.
- Establish written communication through the electronic system.
- correspondence (e-mail) as part of the tools of your work to receive requests from APL and Chicago staff to provide them with the information they require.
- Work with the preparation of samples using ultra-fine material; this involves taking photos and making arrangements to send them to the MS&T department.
- Communicate with scientists and researchers to agree on the delivery of the requested samples.
- Perform counting and reconciliation of controlled products.
- Destroy samples according to the established retention time schedule for procedures while adhering to the safety requirements for disposing of potentially hazardous biological materials.
- Document inspections by describing observations in a written report in accordance with the Quality System Regulation.
- Manage and document the temperature records of the rooms and storage equipment for archive and return samples.
- Conduct process tests (Visual, hardness, thickness, weight, disintegration, and viscosity) as applicable.
- Responsible for carrying out assigned tasks according to the needs of the operational area.
- Provide assistance to operations in accordance with environmental management systems, Operational Health and Safety (EH&S) and promote continuous improvement.
Education:
- Associate degree, preferably in Natural Sciences or Vocational Technical Degree.
Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Basic knowledge of cGMP.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics.
