Product Marketing Manager

Hours Per week-20-30-Flex on time in/out based on how hours are spread out, but ideally 4-6 hours per day

Location: 100 Percent Onsite-Austin, Texas

Duration: This is a 12–18-month contract with potential to extend or convert

  • Client is seeking a passionate and experienced marketing professional for a 12–18-month assignment to join the Heart Failure team.
  • This position will work onsite in our Austin, Texas office within the Heart Failure Division.
  • The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing marketing strategies to drive commercial success.
  • This role will lead the development and execution of key marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless coordination across Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Product Management.
  • The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of go-to-market processes to support product launches, messaging, and commercial execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial product marketing experience, preferably in medical device, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of marketing collateral development and approval processes in regulated industries.
  • Willing to travel 20%.

  • This position will work onsite in our Austin, Texas office within the Heart Failure Division.
  • In Client’s Heart Failure business, we are developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and live better.
  • The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing marketing strategies to drive commercial success.
  • This role will lead the development and execution of key marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless coordination across Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Product Management.
  • The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of go-to-market processes to support product launches, messaging, and commercial execution. With a focus on delivering impactful marketing programs, this role will help optimize field readiness, enhance customer engagement, and contribute to driving business growth.

What you’ll work on

  • Develop, manage, and execute marketing strategies and materials to support commercial goals and product launches. 
  • Collaborate with agencies and vendors, ensuring timely and within budget deliverables using established procedures and tools.
  • Champion the Client brand and product franchise in all materials, ensuring alignment with corporate brand standards.
  • Lead the approval process for marketing resources, ensuring compliance with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs (MLR) requirements. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and stakeholder alignment to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure seamless execution. 
  • Support go-to-market strategy and launch readiness, ensuring alignment across teams and effective messaging for new products. 
  • Maintain and optimize marketing content repositories to ensure easy access and version control for internal teams. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance sales enablement by creating impactful materials and messaging that drive engagement and education. 
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and internal insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize resource effectiveness. 
  • Streamline processes for asset development and approvals, driving efficiency while maintaining compliance. 
  • Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional meetings and project updates, ensuring clear communication and alignment. 
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial product marketing experience, preferably in medical device, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of marketing collateral development and approval processes in regulated industries. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of interdisciplinary teams that include the sales team, product managers, designers, agencies, digital marketing teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Proficiency in marketing and branding tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency with marketing asset management tools and project management tools (e.g., Veeva, Monday.com, Microsoft SharePoint)
  • Willing to travel 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Heart failure (HF) or other cardiovascular marketing experience a plus.
  • Familiar with working with clinical data to inform business strategy and product messaging.
  • Experience in launching new products to market.
