Job Description:

• We are looking for a forward-thinking Digital Innovation Manager to join our Agricultural Solutions AgroStart Team.
• This individual will identify and implement cutting-edge digital technologies in Agriculture to solve customer pain points and fulfill business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Agriculture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology scouting, consulting, or a related role, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing innovation initiatives and digital products.
• Solid understanding of emerging technologies, digital trends, and their application in the agricultural industry.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrable project management skills, with a track record of leading and implementing technology projects successfully.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects is an advantage.
• Innovative thinking and knowledge for digital technology and agriculture
• Track record of identifying and implementing technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively scout for emerging digital technologies and digital trends relevant to the agricultural sector, with an emphasis on finding solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and identify potential technological solutions.
• Lead the consulting process for internal teams on technology adoption and digital innovation. Provide guidance on how technology can solve challenges, improve services, or create new business opportunities.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the organization and help build capabilities for a better partner experience
• Present the potential value of new technologies and provide recommendations based on potential return on investment and alignment with business goals.
• Maintain strong relationships with external tech vendors and partners and leverage these relationships to stay ahead of industry trends and developments.
• Work closely with Digital Product Owners and IT delivery leads to develop and implement Digital Products
• Support regional Artificial Intelligence projects

Comments/Special Instructions

• This role doesn't require ongoing travel but there might be 1-2 innovation events per year where travel overnight might be needed.
