Description
A Section 106 Project Officer would be responsible for managing the implementation of legal agreements between the council and developers, known as Section 106 agreements, which are related to planning permissions.
These agreements ensure developers contribute to local infrastructure and community benefits to mitigate the impact of their projects.
Key Responsibilities of a Section 106 Project Officer:
- Managing Section 106 Agreements:
- The core responsibility is to oversee the administration and implementation of Section 106 agreements.
- Monitoring Developer Contributions:
- This includes tracking developer contributions, both financial and in-kind, to ensure they are used as agreed.
Liaising with Stakeholders:
