What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position?
- BS with a minimum of 5 years or MS with a minimum of 3 years of experience in immunology, cell biology or related field.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented contractor to support in vitro immunology assays within our group.
- The ideal candidate will assist with various aspects of T cell and dendritic cell functional assays, including sample preparation, flow cytometry, and data handling.
- This role requires excellent lab skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently under general supervision.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
- BS with a minimum of 5 years or MS with a minimum of 3 years of experience in immunology, cell biology or related field.
- Hands-on experience with cell culture and flow cytometry (minimum 8 colors) is required.
- Familiarity with human primary immune cells (e.g., PBMCs) is strongly preferred.
- Perform in vitro assays (e.g., T cell proliferation, cytokine release, DCs co-cultures)
- Follow standard protocols and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
