Description
Additional:
- Assignment has possibility of extension. If the candidate works out there can be extensions and possibility of full-time offer should a full-time position open.
- Some travel between main site and Columbus Plant for sample collection/testing. About a 15-20 minute drive.
Main Responsibilities:
- Media making tasks
- Perform audits on equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Sterilization of lab equipment
- Test environmental samples; Swab samples and water samples.
- Glassware sterilization
- autoclave usage
- Preventative maintenance on equipment
- Auditing on equipment
- Testing samples; powder, liquid, and raw ingredients.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- 1 year is Micro lab (preferred), or lab experience( If they have lab experience they can be a fresh grad)
- Plating
- Micro research is a plus
- Detail oriented
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or any Science with Micro experience. Master’s degree wouldn’t be considered overqualified.
