General Purpose:
- Provide administrative support to members of the management team to plan, organize, and schedule events, meetings, presentations, and customer/vendor visits.
Essential job functions:
- Schedules and organizes activities such as meetings and departmental activities.
- Acts as a liaison with other departments, other facilities, customers, and vendors.
- Works independently and within a team on special/non-recurring and ongoing projects, which may include: planning and coordinating presentations, disseminating information, and organizing events.
- Administers and maintains MSDS sheets.
- Prepare appropriate spreadsheets for reporting and proper filing.
- Issues components for inventory daily
- Maintains copy machines and other office equipment within various locations of the department.
- Maintains plant forms and documents within the facility, keeping them up to date and within Company standards.
- Communicates with Purchasing to order office supplies
- Assists GM and other members of the management team with managing their schedules.
- Handles confidential and non-routine information on a regular basis.
- Retrieves information as required.
- Arranges travel as necessary for members of the management team.
- Generates and distributes reports as required.
- Attends/participates in meetings as required.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of two years related experience required.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Must maintain confidentiality of all information at all times.
- Must have intermediate computer skills (email, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.)
- Must be able to maintain good attendance.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
