  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fabrication Supervisor to lead and coordinate fabrication operations in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom fabrication, team leadership, and production planning, with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and ensure timely, high-quality output
  • Experienced supervisor of 30 direct reports with a track record of performance and team development

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of fabrication teams including welders, plumbing, electrical technicians, and assemblers.
  • Interpret engineering drawings (P&ID), blueprints, and technical specifications for custom-built products.
  • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to resolve design and production issues.
  • Monitor and optimize workflow, material usage, and labor efficiency.
  • Train and mentor team members on fabrication techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Expected to be on the production floor 90% of the day, and have the technical skills to coach and guide team members

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes including welding, cutting, forming, and machining.
