Electrical Designer – HVAC Products

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM CST (flexible)
Location: Clarksville, TN (local candidates preferred)
Type: Full-time, Safety Sensitive

Role Overview

Design, develop, and support electrical components and harness systems for commercial HVAC products. Create and modify schematics, wiring harnesses, and component parts while working within established design workflows and collaborating with a large engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain wiring harnesses, schematics, and component part drawings.

• Model 3D wiring harnesses through products to/from components, sensors, and circuit boards.

• Develop assemblies and sheet metal parts using Creo Parametric CAD software.

• Convert supplier STEP files into assembly models and create detailed component drawings.

• Read, interpret, and apply information from blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and markups.

• Evaluate designs for cost-effectiveness, safety, and reliability.

• Simulate, test, and troubleshoot system performance.

• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to meet design goals and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3–5 years electrical design CAD experience.

• Proficient in Creo Parametric, Creo Cabling, and Creo Schematics.

• Experience creating/modifying schematics in Creo or similar software.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Adaptable to client-specific workflows and processes.

• Experience with Windchill (v11 preferred).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

• HVAC industry experience.

• Local to Clarksville, TN.
