M-F; 8-4:30p; onsite
Continuous Quality Improvement Engineer
- The Continuous Quality Improvement Engineer will perform video time studies to baseline the material testing value stream (VS).
- These testing VS maps will include product testing details from Raw Material Receipt to Product Release from the Georgia Campus, and as needed; also include Finished Good testing sites.
- The Continuous Quality Improvement Engineer will identify improvement projects from these VS maps that will utilize LSS and Demand Flow tools and Technologies to implement continuous improvement.
- Projects may also identify the need for capital investment of new laboratory test equipment and technology that would need to be qualified under equipment qualification and test method validation guidelines.
- Strong focus on statistical sample size determination and justification.
Competencies and experience with the following are desirable:
- Statistical and Minitab experience is highly desirable
- Statistical Sampling Experience is highly desirable
- Lean and or Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Green Belt and or Black Belt Certifications
- Certified Quality Engineer
- Demand Flow Technology Training/ Certification
- Equipment Qualification Experience
- Test Method Validation Experience
- Project Management Certification or Experience
- Experience with Engineering Change Orders/ Change Projects
