Description
- Ownership of individual projects when needed
- May require travel between client sites in New Jersey and Westchester County, NY.
- May require up to 10% U.S. domestic travel to client sites located outside of New Jersey
Job Title: AV Technician
- This role involves managing and executing live or recorded online broadcasts for events, meetings, and presentations.
- Key responsibilities include setting up equipment, overseeing technical operations, ensuring smooth streaming, and troubleshooting issues in real time.
- Collaborate closely with presenters and marketing/communication teams, occasional content editing and post-production, and contribute to a polished final product.
Required Skills and Additional Qualification:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in multi-media technologies service industry.
- BA or BS preferred, but not required
- Highly dedicated, organized, and motivated
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision
- Ability to coordinate multiple complex activities
- High levels of professionalism and integrity
- High levels of interpersonal skills geared towards communication (verbal and written) with all levels within client
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work well within tight deadlines
- Shared commitment to see AV services adopted and grow within client
- Basic IT and networking knowledge
Responsibilities:
- This position reports directly to the AV Team Leader of GDA/KI.
- Daily operations, projects, and tasks are driven by client IT staff and management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Setup and support webcasting on-site, virtual, and remote.
- Setup and support Microsoft Teams Room video conferencing technology
- Support AV projects and attend project and weekly AV team meetings.
- Adhere to all client safety and security requirements for contractor personnel working onsite
- Escalate housekeeping and technical issues outside of AV and conferencing technology and applications to appropriate department
- Maintain understanding of current and new audio-visual technology
- Experience with the operations of integrated control systems manufactured by Crestron, Extron, and AMX.
- Working Experience with major audio/visual components such as sound board operation operations

- Telestream Wirecast
- Elgato Streamdeck with Bitfocus Companion
- Bitfocus Companion programming to automate of connected systems.
