Must Have Skills

  • Skill 1 – 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management
  • Skill 2 – Strong knowledge of cycle counting methodologies and inventory reconciliation
  • Skill 3 – Hands-on experience with receiving, labeling, and tagging inventory items
  • Skill 4 – Familiarity with labeling standards and barcode systems
  • Skill 5 – Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar)
  • Skill 6 – Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (warehouse, procurement, finance)
  • Skill 7 – Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Skill 8 – Experience supporting audits and compliance checks

 

Job Description

  • Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Operations Specialist to manage and optimize our physical inventory processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cycle counts, receiving, labeling, and inventory reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all inventory-related activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Execute and monitor cycle count programs to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of incoming goods.
  • Manage labelling and tagging of inventory items according to company standards.
  • Maintain organized and compliant storage areas, ensuring proper handling and placement of materials.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and finance teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Utilize inventory management systems (e.g. NetSuite) for tracking and reporting.
  • Support audits and compliance checks related to inventory control.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to SOP development. Qualifications: • Proven experience (5+ years) in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory systems, cycle counting methodologies, and receiving protocols.
  • Familiarity with labelling standards and barcode systems.
