Description
Role Overview:
This role focuses on testing, assembly, and troubleshooting vehicle-mounted refrigeration systems. The Technician will perform complete unit testing, support product validation, and work closely with engineering to provide feedback on design and performance. Candidates should have a strong mechanical/electrical foundation, with a preference for refrigeration or automotive backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform complete unit testing on refrigeration/vehicle-mounted systems.

Assemble, service, and validate refrigeration units and components.

Troubleshoot and repair AC, refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems (low & high voltage).

Review engineering drawings, identify issues, and provide feedback.

Assist in the design/build of test fixtures.

Install and test new product designs; provide improvement suggestions to engineering.

Deliver accurate test results and maintain safety standards.

Collaborate with engineering teams on product and process improvements.
Qualifications:
-
Technical degree/diploma in Refrigeration (preferred) OR Diesel/Mechanical Engineering.

Automotive industry background with exposure to vehicle systems (preferred).

3+ years relevant industry experience (Associate’s degree is acceptable).

Refrigerant license preferred (or ability to obtain after hire).

Hands-on experience diagnosing/troubleshooting refrigeration, AC, or vehicle systems.

Prior testing experience with mechanical or vehicle components is highly desirable.

Exposure to car/dealership industry is an added plus.

CAD knowledge helpful but not required.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
