Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $205K–$255K (flexible for exceptional candidates)

  • Incentives: Annual bonus + long-term incentives

Role Overview: 
Reporting to the Head of Oncology, this role leads the commercialization of the lung oncology portfolio in Canada. You will own brand performance, P&L management, and franchise-wide financial targets. This includes shaping strategy, launching new products, mentoring a high-performing team, and collaborating across functions and with alliance partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy & Execution

    • Lead commercialization and marketing strategies for the lung oncology portfolio.

    • Drive launch readiness for new products/indications in partnership with Medical, Access, and Diagnostics teams.

    • Advance omni-channel and digital engagement strategies.

  • Business & Brand Leadership

    • Deliver brand and franchise strategies informed by market insights and competitive analysis.

    • Manage P&L, set forecasts, and achieve budget/financial goals.

    • Adapt strategies quickly to scientific developments and evolving healthcare models.

  • Team Leadership

    • Lead and mentor Sales, Marketing, and Commercial team members.

    • Build capabilities to support innovative go-to-market models.

    • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Medical, Access, Diagnostics, and alliance partners.

    • Engage with regional and global oncology colleagues to share insights and align strategies.

  • Strategic Projects

    • Active member of the Oncology Leadership Team.

    • Contribute to cross-brand and enterprise-wide initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Business or Life Sciences (MBA/PhD preferred).

  • Strong leadership experience in Pharma/Biotech with a proven record of delivering business results.

  • Broad commercial experience across the brand lifecycle (pre-launch, launch, long-term planning).

  • In-depth understanding of oncology drug development and commercialization.

  • P&L management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare trends, market access, and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience working with patients, prescribers, payers, providers, and alliance partners.

  • Skilled in team-building, mentoring, and cross-functional leadership.

  • Entrepreneurial, strategic, and innovative mindset with strong communication and influencing skills.
