Contract Analyst-(Strategic Pricing and Contracts Analyst)

Days/Hours: Mon – Friday either 9am-5pm or 8am-5pm

Top Skills:

  • Prior experience in business, finance or strategic pricing and contracting
  • Previous Salesforce experience
  • Proficient in the use of Word and PowerPoint and have advanced skills in Excel
  • Multi Task oriented- will be working with multiple teams
  • Previous Healthcare experience a plus but not required.

 

Job Description

  • Will be working in support of the Medical Devices US Sales Division, the Strategic Pricing and Contracts Analyst will interface with Sales, Sales Management,
  • Enterprise Accounts Sales personnel, and Finance, to apply business management principles and financial concepts that maximize the company’s performance against sales and profit goals and minimize risk.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with field teams to develop pricing proposals and bulk purchase options.
  • Draft, execute and implement contract documents upon request.
  • Work within guidelines for contract approval, pricing approval and contract creation. Seek approvals when outside of guidelines.
  • Possess a sense of urgency and ability to work under customer driven deadlines. This includes the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Owns contract creation from start to finish, utilizing internal and customer templates.
  • Reviews contract terms and coordinate with Legal and other departments on contract redlines.
  • Understanding GPO contractual obligations and the impacts they have on various contracting processes and product launches.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and with diverse workstyles.

 

Education and Experience You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business, finance or strategic pricing and contracting preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, remain organized and work under general supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of Word and PowerPoint and have advanced skills in Excel.
  • Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with remote sites & business partners including building relationship with sales personnel to be highly effective.
