Fully Onsite in Sunnyvale, CA
Within market 2-3 years out of college, Consumer Electronics industry experience
Must-Have Skills:
- Electrical engineer with 2+ years of experience in schematic capture, PCB/FPC layout, circuit design, validation, bringup, and test
- Schematic capture, actively done validation and debug testing in the lab, design, experience with constrained and embedded systems
- Small complex embedded systems (projects) opposed to big design systems
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Software background or scripting experience
- Previous Microsoft, Apple, Google, etc big tech companies
Role Mandate:
- As an Electrical Engineer on the Wearables Concept Engineering team, you will design, build, and test prototype electrical systems for future consumer experiences within Client’s Family of Products.
- You will become part of a team exploring new concepts through fast iterative prototyping. You will work cross-functionally with teams that will dynamically change depending on the problem and potentially include mechanical, optical, firmware, software, and research experts. We want people who work well in teams, can take a board definition and implement with electrical schematic and layout, and support validation, test, and debug of electrical systems and designs.

Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting
- Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models
- Estimate time and cost to complete projects
- Simulate and test machine/structure/system operation
- Investigate and test vendors’ and competitors’ products
- Board and flex layout
- Schematic capture, validation, tests, debugging in the lab with standard electrical engineering equipment

Soft Skills:
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability
- Team player and detail oriented
- Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations
- Ability to perform details calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications
- Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects
- Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering field
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required
