Description
This is a year long commitment with the ability to extend after one year. The position is Monday thru Friday onsite with the ability to work remote one day a week after a 4-6 month training period.
Position Summary
- Responsible for purchasing the services and supplies necessary for the organization’s operations.
- This role involves applying procurement expertise to implement best practices and supply management strategies.
- The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance customer service and support business excellence across multiple categories.
Major Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and promote procurement tools and strategies.
- Support category management, support of supplier scorecards, and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist in achieving annual targets and supporting category goals.
- Manage contracts, supplier selection, and process efficiency.
- Educate stakeholders on procurement solutions and tools.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and tools.
- Communicate and implement changes within the organization.
- Resolve issues related to procurement technology and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must have a BA in business, supply chain, or related field
- Prior experience with Ariba is a requirement but Coupa, Power BI is a bonus.
- Experience with requisition/procurement systems and processes.
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have working knowledge of various Microsoft applications (Excel and Word).
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply management strategies.
