Description
Rangam is seeking candidates for a Direct Hire role as a Quality Control Associate Scientist with our client Pfizer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Seeking candidates in Sanford NC or willing to relocate.

What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Perform tasks associated with maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliant Quality Control and Stability laboratories.
- Perform testing on various samples, manage Laboratory Information Management System builds, and review laboratory data.
- Review, and approve test method transfer and validation protocols, reports, and equipment qualification records.
- Support product transfers, new product development, regulatory queries, cost improvement projects, and Drug Product plant support for Cleaning Validation.
- Operate within established HR policies and basic colleague relations guidelines.
- Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical reports, project plans, etc.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience; OR an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience

Demonstrated experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry

Fundamental understanding of laboratory instrumentation function and analytical method troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel
- Experience in ELISA and plate-based testing
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging, and quality assurance operations
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- Relevant pharmaceutical experience
- Strong understanding of computer system hardware, infrastructure, and networks
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, stand for 3 to 4 hours at a time, sit for 2 to 3 hours at a time, walk long distances and bend to obtain items from lower shelving/cabinets.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to perform complex mathematical problems and data analysis
- Effective time management and organizational skills

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $58 500,00 to $97 500,00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7,5% of the base salary.
