Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms
• 1 year of experience with front-end and user interface development.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in a cross-functional team on creating user-facing products.
• Passion to collaboratively finding solutions which take into account both user needs and legal requirements.
• Interest in front-end work and learning other coding languages and technologies as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Primitives Engineering teams across Web, Android, and iOS, and our cross-functional partners on creating core solutions for efficiently designing and implementing consent and transparency experiences across Client products.
• Partner with our UX team on developing a Primitives Design Library and Framework that makes it easy for clients to design and launch user-centric, research-backed, and compliant consent experiences.
• Design and implement the solutions which expand Primitives’ capabilities and improve the velocity of consent launches.
• Collaborate with partners across Core, Search, YouTube, Play, Geo, Ads, and more on product-specific launches and Client-wide compliance efforts.
• Participate in tech excellence efforts, including optimizing performance and reducing technical debt.
