Graphic Designer

Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST

Location: Austin , Texas

Onsite/Remote: 100 percent onsite position

Duration: This is a 12-month contract with potential to extend highly likely

List 3-5 hard requirements for the role:

  • Previous Graphic Experience in Medical or Healthcare Industry a plus- Will be designing/developing Power Point documents/presentations for internal trainings-
  • Previous work with or in creating/updating educational materials for internal hires and ongoing educational training.
  • Familiar with cross functional regulatory branding

Years of experience required: 4+

  • Selected candidate will Design engaging promotional and educational materials including PowerPoint, brochures, posters, web, and other print tactics in accordance to Client’s brand standards.
  • Training content is designed to build field competence in the following areas to drive sales effectiveness: clinical competence, technical knowledge, customer understanding, and selling ability.
  • Audit marketing and educational materials to ensure brand compliance
  • Partner with cross-functional partners including global marketing, commercial marketing, internal communications, HR and others for creative direction and briefing
  • Maintain brand identity on all collateral produced.
  • Proofread and approve artwork.
  • Stay current on print standards, web publishing applications, and best practices related to print and digital collateral in regulated industries
  • Provide product launch support

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in graphic design / visual communications / multimedia or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design
  • Advanced skillset and experience with iAdobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of printing processes
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines 

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week depending on workload. The position will be based out of our Austin, TX site in the Heart Failure division. 

  • As the Contract Graphic Designer, you will design and/or create visual material for use in the organization’s publications, brochures, posters, educational, and other promotional and non-promotional materials under the guidance and creative direction of the Commercial Excellence training and education team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate skillset and experience with the following Adobe Creative Suite programs: Premiere, After Effects, Animate, Dimension
