Additional information from the manager for requirements:
- SAP integrations are a big part of our landscape.
- However, we do have an SAP Architect, that this person would work with.
- It's clearly a preferred area- but the integration architect would not be alone.
- Regarding the integration platform: Today, we are heavily relying on Informatica.
- Tibco is used for SAP integrations.
- However, there is a goal to look at alternatives for SAP integrations.
- Thinking of SAP ASAPIO and or Solace.
Duties:
- As an Integration Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing enterprise-wide integration architectures that enable seamless connectivity across Client digital ecosystem.
- You will drive the transformation from traditional file-based integrations to modern API and event-driven architectures, establishing patterns and frameworks that promote reusability, decoupling, scalability, and business agility.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and establish enterprise integration patterns that support the transition from file-based to API and event-driven architectures, reducing point-to-point dependencies while increasing system interoperability.
- Develop and evangelize API and integration guiding principles across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards.
- Architect core integration framework that standardizes connectivity approaches.
- Lead the modernization of our API and integration toolset, evaluating emerging technologies and recommending strategic investments that enhance our integration capabilities.
- Integrate API and integration practices with SDLC and DevOps processes, enabling automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of integration components.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable, future-proof architectural solutions.
- Mentor and guide teams on integration best practices, patterns, and technologies to build their capabilities and ensure consistent implementation.
- Continuously evaluate the integration landscape to identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, and innovation that drive business value.
- You have a proven track record in enterprise integration architecture with extensive experience designing and implementing API and event-driven architectures.
- Your background demonstrates a deep understanding of integration patterns, middleware technologies, and API management solutions across complex enterprise environments.

- Deep expertise in enterprise integration patterns, API design, event-driven architecture, and microservices
- Extensive experience with integration platforms such as TIBCO BusinessWorks, MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, or similar technologies
- Hands-on experience with enterprise messaging systems (TIBCO EMS, RabbitMQ) and event streaming platforms (Kafka)
- Proficiency with API gateways, and API security standards
- Knowledge of enterprise file transfer solutions like Axway TransferCFT and related protocols
- Experience integrating cloud services and platforms, particularly AWS data services (S3, Lambda, Glue)
- Understanding of data integration patterns, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline architectures
- Working knowledge of Python, and other scripting languages for integration development
- Understanding of integration security patterns, authentication mechanisms, and data protection requirements
Years of Experience:
- 6 - 9 Years (Solution Architect, Systems or Integration Engineer) Ideal candidate would have combination of experience.
Minimum education:
- BS Degree in Computer Science or related area, higher education is accepted as well
Comments:
- Min 6 + years of experience, Systems Engineer, Integration Engineer
- Pharma or biotech not required, must have worked in large organization/ global, complex environment
- SAP, integration systems
Core requirement:
