Description

SourceAbled is seeking Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to identify and manually extract data that can not be extracted by the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process. Responsible for performing manual entry and verification of field level data and possible categorization of data. Requires reveiwing and correcting data extracted by the OCR process as it moves through data processing platform. This is a long term contract expected to last up to 2 years

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain data entry requirements by following program protocol
  • Audit customer data for accuracy and make required adjustments
  • Help meet team daily goals
  • Identify and notify management of program issues
  • Resolve discrepenciesi in data
  • Obtain additional information for incomplete documents
  • Comply with HIPPA guidelines as outlined by RMS HIPAA Security and Compliance policy
  • Compare data entered with source document
  • Enter alphanumeric or symbolic data from source documents in to computer following designated format and enter necessary codes
  • Identify, analyze and report datat issues related to
  • Provide analytical skills to maintain successful productivity for the team
  • Other duties and responsibilites as needed

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high degree of accuracy and speed
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented team environment
  • Can interpret variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Type 45 WPM
  • 10-key experience
  • Health care billing, explanation and understanding of benefits knowledge a plus
  • Healthcare coding a plus

    M-F 1st shift/7:00AM-3:30PM/Pay $22 hourly
