Description
Open for candiadtes who are ready to relocate at their own expense
Onsite role (can work 1 day remote)
Not looking or any certification but looking for real exp in SAP MDG
Need development and configuration work in MDF like a SME
80% technical role
Will start as 6 months and after that will extend or convert depending on performance and business needs
- Not looking for some one who has used MDG as a toll and has configured MDG
- Bachelors degree needed
- This is not a PM role but more of managing resources and technical MDG role
- Heavy focus on material master
- Supporting operations
- SAP MDG architect role in material
- 20-25% - manage off shore resources (MDG resources) (From India)
- Exp in material master MDG area both on technical and personal perspective
- Serve as the subject matter expert for MDG Material Master.
- 8-10 yrs exp
- Looking for some one who knows every thing about MDG (SME) (heavy focus on material master) (4-5 yrs exp)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the SAP MDG system, ensuring a stable, reliable, and compliant environment.
- Monitor and improve incident management and Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for MDG Material Master.
- Collaborate with data governance team to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of MDG operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including projects with corporate ERP CoE, supply chain, shared services, and business units to ensure alignment and integration of MDG processes.
- Generate and analyze reports on MDG performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required, master’s degree preferred.
Experience
- 8-10 years’ experience in SAP or Master Data, with 5 years’ experience in SAP MDG. MDG on Material Master is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in a managerial role is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP MDG, SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA . Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
Duties:
- Manages/directs the activities and people associated with small to large scale projects with a focus on any or several non-IT business applications and disciplines.
- Manage/direct all facets of single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the Full Project Life Cycle.
- Collaborate/work with project sponsors, business units and users to identify project scope and focus, develop or monitor project initiatives, implement project requirements/plans/processes/tools, assign/guide/monitor project staff, and assure project success.
- Deliver quality project solutions to business problems or issues within defined budgets and/or timelines.
- Provide expert project guidance/support proactively through project completion.
- Provide tracking, reporting, and presentation to management and users.
- 7+ years experience
