Fork truck experience is not a requirement and neither is being billingual.

Years of experience/education and/or certifcations required:

• 1-3 years of experince in quality
• At least GED, associates is a plus
• Forklift certified is a plus but not required

What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have?

• Previous Quality experience
• Previous Pharmaceutical experience
• Performing Visual inspection
• GED or Associates

What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification?

• Microsoft office
• SAP use
• Some type of inventory management system
• Very entry level, things can be taught and trained
• Stay away from anyone very tenured, bachelors degree would be over qualified.
• Anyone with a science or engineering degree would not be a fit.

What type of environment is this person working in?

• Mix between office and warehouse

Work Schedule (Define days,# of hours)/ Is Overtime offered or required? If yes, how many hours, what impact to scheduled working hours?

• Monday – Friday 7:30-3:30pm
• Possible OT after training.

Does this position offer the ability to work remotely on a regular basis or is it an on-site role?

• If remote opportunity exists, what are the options (i.e. 1 day remote, 4 days on-site)

Purpose:

• The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the quality of product manufactured and also make sure the Durable & Consumable, commodities and raw materials used in the Drug Product and Drug Substance manufacturing areas comply with quality requirements according to procedure and material specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Material inspection of Durable & Consumable, commodities and raw material according to procedure.
• Take Sampling of incoming material according to procedure and per material specifications.
• Enter result of inspection in computer systems.
• Segregate material for rejected materials.
• Responsible of visual test and dimensional test of commodities used in the Drug Substance area.
• Release incoming material in system.
• Verify documentation generated according to procedures.
• Provide assistance to operations in accordance with environmental management, occupational health and safety (EHS) systems and promote continuous improvement.
• Comply with all EHS procedures and policies including incident reporting, use of PPE, waste management and disposal, and any other program applicable according to the position duties.

Qualifications:

• High School or (GED) with two (2) years of experience in biologics or pharmaceutical industry or Associate Degree in Science with O years of experience.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing (GMP) and safety practices.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience driving forklifts and handling materials is preferred.
• Basic knowledge in computer systems.
