Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:15pm – 10:45pm

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent

Is the use of PIT equipment required (forklifts or pallet jacks)?

  • Electric pallet jack training

Job Summary

  • Operates production equipment to meet production quality and quantity requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
  • Comply with all company policies including safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Quality System Regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Monitor functions of equipment and operate per documented procedures.
  • Maintain/verify instrument and equipment calibration.
  • Provide technicians with symptoms of equipment failures, when required.
  • Maintain segregation of materials and lot/receiving numbers.
  • Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning procedures.
  • Support material handling as necessary.

Physical Demands

  • Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Lifting/pushing/pulling and carrying products weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Potential Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
  • Potential Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
  • Safety Shoes compliant with site specific policies/procedures must be worn in designated areas

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • 0 to 1 year of previous manufacturing operator experience.
