Shift & Shift Hours: 8am-4:30pm

Onsite, Remote or Hybrid: onsite at the client site in Otay Mesa Address.

 

Top 3-5 Required Skills:

  1. Functional hand tools knowledge and use
  2. Basic knowledge of precision pipetting, standard laboratory procedures and biohazard precautions
  3. Working knowledge of schematics desired.
  4. Strong attention to detail
  5. Able to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills and use of judgement/decision making ability

 

Required Technologies:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Experience with ERP/CRM systems

 

Education Requirements:

  • AA or Technical Training School, OJT

 

Job Summary

  • Responsible for performing service repair (i.e. testing, verifications and calibrations) of electronic equipment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Clean and decontaminate instruments and ancillary equipment returned from customer sites.
  • Prepare and maintain required service documentation.
  • Performs service, maintenance, testing, calibration and verifications of instruments following outlined procedures.
  • Specifies, requests, and maintains spare part inventory.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Monitor calibration status of equipment

  • Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
  • Safety Shoes with Impact and Compression Protection Must be worn.
  • Exposure to blood.

 

Qualifications:

Education

  • AA or Technical Training School
  • Lean Training with a focus on continuous improvement

 

Experience

  • 1-2 Years related experience
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems

 

Skills

  • Able to demonstrate sound problem-solving skills and use of judgement/decision making ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Display a sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
