Description
Manager's Update:
- Biosafety level 2 lab
- qPCR analysis
- Work with animal tissues
- LIMS is not a must have
- Working with animal tissue and things derived from animal tissue
- University exp in academic lab will work
- This is not a GMP lab
- Executing qPCR methods in lab
- 100% onsite role
- Lab analyst role working on qPCR
- Development R&D lab
- Willing to consider less exp but would consider them for level 1 role
- Biological science degree
- Silica based Qiagen nucleic acid
- No animal handling is needed
- Nucleic acid extraction exp
- Safety glasses, gloves, Closed toed shoes
- General lab and sterile lab skills
- Pipetting skills
- Knowledge and exp in qPCR
- Lab exp
- Maintaining sterile clean lab environment
What hours and days will this person be working? 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday-Friday (some flexibility to start and end times)
What are the top 5 skills/requirements this person is MUST have?
- qPCR analysis including nucleic acid extraction on multiple platforms/sample types
- Lab work experience
- Precise and accurate pipetting skills- maintaining a sterile environment to prevent DNA contamination and eliminate cross contamination between samples and must be able to accurately utilize a pipette using small volumes.
- Required Skill 3: Demonstrate good general laboratory and sterile technique.
- Required Skill 4: Good documentation practices
- Required Skill 5: Able to work independently and with other team members
