Description
Location: - Grayslake-IL North Chicago - 100% Onsite
Contract will be extended over and ever over a year
Someone who can work more days in Mon - Friday (need 4 - 5 hours minimum during Mon - Fri)
This role is part time, but manager is looking for someone who can work more hours and more days during Mon – Fri
Not Looking for someone who can work weekends only
- Nurse practitioner (ER, Nursing home) nurse will also work
- Watching and following the subjects
- need candidate to be there (Mon - Fri days needed)
- Adverse event : evaluate subject on adverse events (need to check how subject is doing on that day)
- Candidate should be present when dosing subjects
- MD or nurse practitioner needed
- Part time role (Will work 2 or more days in a week)
- Looking or someone who can give more hours of work during Mon - Fri
- Start time can be 8 or 9:00 AM (Flexible)
- Shift timings: 8:00 AM -2:00 PM (some time up to 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM)
- Basic neuro exam
- Will need to be there for dosing episode
- Will find out what to do with subject
- Will do biopsies as well
- open to family nurse practitioner as well (Will not look at mental health issues, will look more towards physical)
- If the candidate does not have BLS or ACLS. they can get the certification done at client but they won’t be getting paid for those hours
Contract: 6 Months - possible extension - based on performance and business needs
Part Time - "We are looking for 2 or more days during the week. 8 to 2/sometimes asking for up to 4pm."
Position Title: ACPRU Contract Physician/Nurse Practitioner
What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position:
- Required to be licensed in Illinois and preferred BLS/ACLS, otherwise will provide.
- An experienced licensed Professional with relevant therapeutic specialty in an academic or hospital environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills/Documentation.
- Stays abreast of professional information and technology through conferences, medica literature, and other available training.
- Ensures adherence to Good Clinical Practices and standard operating procedures and to all other quality standards in conducting research.
Minimum Education Required:
- Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in Illinois, with license in good standing.
Minimum Experience Required:
- 2 years
Preferred Skills:
- Preferably BLS/ACLS certified.
- Board certified in a medical specialty.
Perform all study activities, within the scope of their license and qualifications, delegated to him/her by the Principal Investigator including all medically related protocol procedures such as:
- Assessing and recording adverse events,
- Obtaining medical history,
- Physical exams,
- Clinical laboratory assessments.
Responsible for reading Investigator Brochures and for training on relevant Client SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines and study protocols.
