Description

Looking for an experienced chemist/toxicologist to join our Analytical Chemistry group at Client Pomona.

In this role, you will:

Perform LCMS test method development for drug testing in oral fluid and urine samples
Perform test method characterization (TMC) and validations (TMV) for LCMS product release of calibrators and controls. These cals and controls are used in conjunction with urine or oral fluid drugs of abuse assays run on clinical chemistry analyzers. Some of the assays are 510(k) cleared.

The candidate must have:

Extensive hands-on LCMS method development and validation experience
Competent in bench work, pipetting
Experience with sample preparation techniques, such as solid phase extraction, filtration
Familiar with Shimadzu-LCMS
Ideally, the candidate would have direct experience with:
Shimadzu LCMS
Hamilton liquid handler, such as STAR, STARlet, or Nimbus
DPX Tips for solid phase extraction or filtration
Working in FDA regulated environment
