This will be immunology discovery
 
PhD will be considered for this role
  • Not looking for histology exp
  • Should be able to puta summary of study and present during interview (Presentation)
  • 6 people in team this will be seventh person (people have background in cell biology, imaging science, molecular imaging, histopathology)
  • Understanding of conjugated materials and what's involved in running those exp with those molecules
  • Should be independent in performing experiments
  • Experience with animal handling; injections, anesthesia, drug administration, and necropsy.
  • Need some one with yrs of exp
  • Post Doc with 2 yrs exp will be overqualified
  • Working with hazardous chemical, biological or radiological materials. (PPE will be provided by client)
  • Dosing is not that much in this role
  • Exp with (SPECT/CT and radiometric assays) and optical (BLI/FLI) image acquisition and analysis protocols tailored to each study.
  • Data analysis is also involved in this role (Imaging data)
  • Work closely with pathology colleagues for diff aspects of studies
  • 50 - 50 in vivo and ex vivo data analysis work
  • Support multiple project teams and diff studies come in diff flavours (candidate will be working in 1 study which is based on fluorescence based imaging modality and there could be other study which would involve ex vivo)
  • Will be doing imaging activities,
  • Animal imaging project and support small animal imaging projects in Immunology.
  • Will be doing necropsy, using fluorescence
  • Exp with In vivo and in vitro, ex vivo
  • Comfortable working with animals like mice, rats, rodent also working with human tissue
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Biomedical Imaging, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields
  • Should have exp not looking for recent grad

Job Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Imaging Scientist at the Scientist I level to join our Immunology Department.
  • The successful candidate, with a demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, will work to develop and support small animal imaging projects in Immunology.
  • We work at the interface between engineering and biology, and the successful applicant will work hands-on with optical and SPECT/CT platforms as well as microscopy instruments and play a key role in optimizing and implementing multiplexed imaging protocols.
  • This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in in vivo and ex vivo imaging techniques who is eager to contribute to the development and application of multi-modal imaging technologies to provide information to enable strategic decisions for Immunology portfolio.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Biomedical Imaging, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields.
  • Performs nuclear and optical imaging studies involving mainly, but not limited to, rodent models of disease or ex vivo samples.
  • Develops, optimizes and implements nuclear imaging (SPECT/CT and radiometric assays) and optical (BLI/FLI) image acquisition and analysis protocols tailored to each study.
  • Performs ex vivo procedures such as tissue fixation, sectioning, histology, and optical microscopy.
  • Experience with animal handling; injections, anesthesia, drug administration, and necropsy.
  • In addition to educational requirement, minimum 2 years of experience in preclinical animal (rodent) imaging research, with focus on optical and nuclear pre-clinical imaging acquisition and analysis.
  • Working with hazardous chemical, biological or radiological materials.
  • Knowledge and understanding of statistical analysis
