Description

Position Title – Quality Control Technician I

Location/Site – US-IL-Lake County

Work shift (days/times) – 3rd shift: 11pm-7am

Weekends included (Y/N) – Y

Remote, 100% Onsite or Hybrid Onsite Schedule – Onsite

Travel required (Y/N) – N

Safety Shoes and safety glasses required.

CNC room classification- captive uniform( or disposable lab coat)/hairnet/face hair cover/booties

 

Top 3-5 skills needed –

  • Attention to detail, previous quality inspection experience, ability to work in fast paced environment

Job Title: Technician I, Manufacturing QA

Purpose:

Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position.

  • Perform inspecting, sampling, and physical testing of work-in process and final packaged products per appropriate product specification.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing routine testing on in-process and finished product in accordance with approved specifications and procedures.
  • Responsible for supporting Operations efforts in meeting established production schedule.
  • Reports problems in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Seeks additional guidance or advice when problem is beyond scope of training or knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Good understanding of basic math
  • Good clerical skills are required.
  • 2+ years of overall work experience
  • 2+ Experience in a manufacturing/finishing environment is desired.
  • Previous knowledge of GMP regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products is desired.

Experience Level = 1-3 Years
