Bioanalytical Scientist – Protein Mass Spectrometry
Location: Onsite | Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift
About the Role
- We’re looking for a detail-oriented and curious scientist to support our protein mass spectrometry lab.
- You’ll play a key role in preparing biological samples and developing analytical methods that drive impactful research.
- This is a hands-on, lab-based role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to learn and grow.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare biological samples (cells, tissues, plasma) for LC-MS analysis
- Perform protein lysis, immunoprecipitation, digestion, filtration, and concentration
- Design and execute experiments in collaboration with scientists
- Develop and optimize analytical methods
- Analyze, interpret, and document results in electronic lab notebooks
- Present findings and contribute to team discussions
- Maintain high standards of lab safety and data integrity
What You Bring
Education:
- BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field + 3–5 years of experience
- OR MS + 1–3 years of experience
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with LC-MS sample preparation workflows
- Familiarity with proteomics and immunoanalytical techniques
- Exposure to Parallel Reaction Monitoring (PRM) is a plus
- Comfortable operating lab equipment and following complex protocols
- Excellent data organization and communication skills
Soft Skills:
