Primary Purpose

  • The primary purpose of the Project Support Officer is to ensure the successful deployment and adoption of the new finance system.
  • This role is for a graduate level candidate with interest in project management.
  • The role will involve day to day support to the Programme Manager in execution of programme tasks, monitoring and updating of programme trackers and chasing stakeholders for tasks due.
  • As and when required, this role will also provide project support to other members of the project team.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to tasks allocated and deliver in a timely manner.
 

Compliance

  • Ensure legal, regulatory and policy compliance under GDPR, Health and Safety and in area of your specialism identifying opportunities and risks and escalating where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Degree Level Qualification
 

Experience

  • Demonstrable interest in Project Management (theoretical or practical) A/I
  • Experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management teams
 

Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive implementation 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders 
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
