Description

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

  • Worker will be mainly remote for the duration of the temp assignment, but must have the ability to come in to the office for some meetings and be OK with a hybrid schedule if hired on full time.
  • MUST be local to the area.

Department: Marketing – Web

Schedule: Full-Time, 9 AM–5 PM

End Date: March 2026 (with potential to extend)

About the Role

Client is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Content Manager to join our Marketing Web team in the financial space with financial experience.

  • This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can pivot quickly, and has a strong background in content strategy and stakeholder management.
  • You’ll be responsible for driving web content initiatives that align with business goals, ensuring consistency, quality, and performance across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content strategies that support marketing campaigns and product launches
  • Manage website updates from intake through publication, collaborating with UX, CMS authors, and compliance teams
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging across digital channels
  • Lead web projects from concept to launch, maintaining timelines and quality standards
  • Optimize content for SEO and monitor performance using analytics tools
  • Conduct content audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility (ADA/WCAG compliance)
  • Maintain brand voice and style guidelines across all content
  • Coordinate with agencies and internal contributors as needed

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • 5-7+ years of experience in digital/web content
  • Proven content strategy experience
  • Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and Adobe Experience Manager (or similar CMS platforms)
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and high-volume workloads
