Shift/Time Zone: 10:00 am - 6:30 pm

Must have excellent understanding of english language both spoken and written

Bilingual candidates strongly preferred who also speak Spanish. English still must be strong, as well

Job Description:              

Perform routine laboratory support tasks to ensure accurate specimen processing and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and prepare specimens for testing.

• Perform basic lab tasks: centrifuging, aliquoting, slide prep, inoculation, and labeling.

• Conduct routine instrument maintenance and QA/QC checks.

• Maintain specimen storage, retrieve missing samples, resolve pending lists.

• Prepare reagents/media and decontaminate work areas.

• Change gas cylinders and perform weekly radioactive wipe tests.

• Record temperature charts and maintain department files.

• Follow PPE, safety regulations, and proper biohazard disposal.

• Operate lab computer systems and complete required training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to learn, retain information, multitask, and work efficiently.

• Professional, respectful communication with coworkers and customers.

Additional Details

• Must have reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license.

• Must be punctual, able to work full scheduled shifts, and meet attendance expectations.

• Fast-paced, high-production environment with repetitive tasks.

• Protective lab gear required when handling samples.
