Phlebotomist

Shift/Time Zone: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm EST

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the primary point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and performing high-quality phlebotomy and specimen processing. This role ensures patient comfort, maintains a professional environment, and follows all established procedures for safe and accurate sample collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, timely daily operations under supervisor's direction.

• Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens with skill and confidence.

• Verify patient identity and ensure tubes are labeled correctly in the patient’s presence.

• Maintain all required documentation and records.

• Promote a positive, professional image to patients, staff, and the public.

• Safely manage a high-volume workload and multiple priorities.

• Travel to multiple sites as needed and provide coverage with minimal notice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric.

• Strong customer service skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and consistent on-time attendance.

• Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, overtime).

• Keyboard/data entry proficiency.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
