Job Description:        

The PSR II is the face of the company, delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate blood collection services. This role performs clinical and forensic specimen collection, prepares samples for lab testing, and ensures patient confidence through clear communication, professionalism, and strict adherence to procedures and confidentiality standards. Assignments may vary by business needs.

• Collect and process specimens following established procedures

• Verify patient identity, labeling, and documentation post-venipuncture

• Maintain records and a professional, patient-focused environment

• Promote a positive company image and demonstrate leadership behaviors

Requirements

• Strong phlebotomy skills (pediatric & geriatric)

• Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime)

• Willingness to travel and work multiple locations on short notice

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Candidate must have reliable transportation to get to/from worksite without issue (bus, Uber, rideshare is not reliable transportation).
• Must be available to work whenever scheduled, BE ON TIME, and stay for the entire shift.
