Must-Have Skills
- Go to market and sales experience
- Being very aware of timelines of deliverables, launching product on time, client collaboration
- 8+ years of experience in product management, category management, product marketing or a related field, with a focus on consumer electronics

- Prior experience launching or scaling new (0-1) consumer hardware products, especially in Wearables, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), or Mixed Reality (MR) devices.
Years of Experience: 6-8 years of experience with product development and sales
We are seeking an experienced sales category manager with 8+ years of experience working across sales, product marketing, or category management.
- This person should be comfortable operating in ambiguity, framing problems, and developing strategic option spaces based on program objectives and goals to best define go-to-channel strategies for new products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) 8+ years of experience in category management, product management, sales, or GTM roles, preferably in tech or consumer electronics Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex projects to completion
- The primary work will be establishing channel strategies for new products, including: identifying how we should sell, where we should sell, and why. This is inclusive of what markets, channels, and what retailers within each of those should be prioritized.
- You own the entire path-to-purchase, defining where the shoppers can buy, how they buy, and what mechanisms are in place to support conversion to ensure the best possible launch and market reception.
- A successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive sales category strategy, developing go-to-channel plans, fostering cross-functional partnerships, and driving sales levers to ensure seamless launch moment readiness.
- Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-channel strategy for upcoming Client HW products by analyzing market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
- Product Launch Management: Spearhead the launch of new Client HW products, ensuring timely and successful execution of launch plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive global sales strategy and execution.
- Performance Metrics and Analysis: Develop and track key performance metrics, analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and market research to inform business decisions and optimize category performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as external partners, to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for Client HW product launches, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI-driven decision-making.
- Innovation and Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth in the Wearable product category.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in product management, category management, product marketing or a related field, with a focus on consumer electronics
- Experience launching successful products and managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and market research
- Experience presenting to influence and persuade stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in consumer electronics, with a demonstrated track record of launching new zero to 1 type of products, driving business growth and revenue expansion
- Experience in 0-1 consumer Hardware, Wearables, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality or Mixed Reality Devices
