Description
The successful candidate will receive training during the first month to six weeks on the first shift before transitioning to the second shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM)
Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team for a second-shift position.
- In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing hazardous waste and industrial wastewater, as well as overseeing QA/QC processes for the materials being produced.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related laboratory field.
- A college degree is preferred; however, equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests using both conventional and computerized equipment.
- Perform tests in accordance with prescribed standards to determine chemical and physical characteristics.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ensure all laboratory work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
