Email Market Consultant

Location: Remote

M-F 8:30-5PM EST

The Digital Marketing team is responsible for raising relevant awareness with target audiences, deepening engagement with valuable content and increasing preference and demand for Client products and services using an appropriate mix of platforms.

As an Email Marketing Consultant contractor, you are responsible for supporting the operational execution of email marketing campaigns, partnering with Email Marketing and Operations Managers to execute the team’s strategies.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Design and code emails for use by Email Marketing Managers in campaigns that support the enterprise email campaign strategy.
• Configure audience targeting to building campaigns, gaining approvals, testing delivery, deploying and assisting in reporting using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other tools
• Support the execution of digital and content marketing strategies to raise awareness among target audiences, deepen engagement with valuable content, and increase preference and demand for Client using digital platform(s).
• Develop an understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other performance measurement methods to support optimization strategies and tests, drive efficient results, and enhance engagement, acquisition, and/or retention in support of the marketing strategy and business objectives.
• May participate in departmental projects and initiatives aimed at establishing top-tier digital marketing practices throughout the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of HTML and CSS coding for email.
• Enjoys the creative design process and development of email marketing strategies.
• Two or more years of digital marketing experience, preferably with email as an area of focus.
• Prior experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email service provider.
• Reliable and collaborative individual who can work effectively and positively with both internal departments and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with marketing technology and data.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Time and project management skills.
