12 hour rotating shift known in industry as the "Dupont" schedule. Shifts start and end at 6am & 6pm.

Responsibilities:

The candidate's assignment will include but is not limited to operation of Operate major plant equipment and/or processes (pumps, valves, filters, screens, compressors, dryers, etc.) following standard procedures and practices, as well as participate in system improvement processes.

• Maintain equipment and diagnoses problems to avoid shutdowns.
• Drive/Operate a Forklift. Keep records and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• This includes the ability to rate, ratio, percent and to draw as well as interpret bar graphs. Responsible for product quantity and quality (including analytical testing)
• Be responsible for identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns and be generally responsible for the duties that will be assigned to them.
• The incumbent in this position will be responsible for providing support to team members in activities such as operation of chemical processes, loading and unloading tank trucks and rail cars and other operational activities as needed.
• The incumbent in this role must demonstrate excellent housekeeping skills, attendance and teamwork.
• This assignment has the opportunity for fulltime Operator placement.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts as needed. 

Qualifications:-

• 3 years' experience as a chemical operator preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a production manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills required. Must work well in a team environment. Demonstrate good work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping, etc.)
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• SAP basic knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs.
• Must be able to work from heights to small, contained areas
• Must be able to wear a face mask/shield when needed.
• Must be willing to work all shifts and overtime as required.
• This position will be hands on manufacturing, interfacing with product and equipment.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
