Description
Job Title: Senior associate Scientist - Biology – Immuno-oncology
Onsite - Foster City. 5 days/week
Top three skills HM is looking for are outlined below:
1) Human and mouse primary immune cell isolation and functional assays (T cells in particular)
2) Immune cell gene editing (e.g., CRISPR-Cas9, lentivirus, transposase-based systems)
3) Multicolor flow cytometry, including panel design, sample processing, and data acquisition
While the current candidates list these skills on their resumes, my initial conversations with them indicate that few are comfortable working across all three areas. Most candidates have relevant experience that could be developed with training; however, their skill sets do not fully align with the role’s requirements. Given that this is a 1-year role, I want to minimize the time spent on training.
