Role Overview

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist focused on RFP management to support a high-volume procurement team. This role is heavily centered around issuing and managing RFPs, working closely with internal stakeholders, and driving sourcing activities from initiation through bid evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end RFP process
• Issue RFPs using internal procurement platforms
• Receive and review Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Engage with Lines of Business (LOBs) and internal stakeholders
• Evaluate vendor proposals and develop bid leveling sheets
• Support vendor negotiations and contract discussions
• Compile and deliver sourcing documentation to stakeholders
• Manage bid lifecycle: issue → receive → close → evaluate

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of procurement / sourcing experience
• Strong experience managing RFPs and bid processes
• Ability to work independently and manage stakeholders
• Experience with vendor negotiations and proposal evaluations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Preferred Background

• Utility / energy industry experience
• Construction, engineering, or infrastructure procurement

• Role is RFP-heavy (primary responsibility)

• Separate team handles POs and change orders

• Must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

• Will interact frequently with business stakeholders and customers

• No specific system requirement (tools will be provided)
