Job Summary:


We are seeking an IT Infrastructure & SIEM Support Engineer to support its regulated nuclear environment at the Warrenville, IL facility.

The selected individual will assist in testing, documenting, and supporting SIEM hardware, network infrastructure, and software to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements. This role is critical to maintaining a secure and reliable operational environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in testing and validating SIEM hardware, network infrastructure, and security software.
  • Accurately document infrastructure configurations, system changes, and test results to meet regulatory standards.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting for infrastructure systems.
  • Collaborate with internal IT and security teams to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, patching, and system performance improvements.
  • Maintain adherence to nuclear facility security and safety protocols.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and security concepts.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration (installation, configuration, and maintenance).
  • Ability to create and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
