What are the different types of neurodivergence?

People who identify themselves as neurodivergent typically have one or more of the conditions or disorders listed below. However, since there aren’t any medical criteria or definitions of what it means to be neurodivergent, other conditions also can fall under this term as well. People with these conditions may also choose not to identify themselves as neurodivergent.

Some of the conditions that are most common among those who describe themselves as neurodivergent include, but are not limited to:

Autism spectrum disorder (this includes what was once known as Asperger’s syndrome)

A technical student or early-career technician who wants hands-on engineering exposure in manufacturing/R&D

Start Date: May 18 – August 8

Work Days: Monday–Friday (in office)

Shifts:

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Co-ops may choose one of the listed shift options; timeframes are non negotiable. This is aligned with the GA Tech Co-Op program within client.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primarily trained in the skills and techniques related to a specific branch of engineering with a practical understanding of the relevant engineering concepts.
Responsible for developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development manufacturing sales construction inspection and maintenance.
Assists engineers inspects products conducts tests and collects data. Technical school or high school diploma with 1+ years of technician work experience.
