Description
Chemical Operators should have prior manufacturing experience and a stable work history
DEAL BREAKERS: MUST be clean shaven, no nicotine allowed during the shift, and that cell phones are not allowed on the site.
100% onsite
EDUCATION:
- HS Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
- Must be willing to come to work clean shaven daily
- 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations.
- Must be able to read and comprehend work policy and instructions.
- Self-motivated multi-tasker, and mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of proper material handling procedures.
- Must be able to work while standing or walking for more than 8 hours per shift
- Must be able to safely work independently or with a team depending on assigned task
- Must be able to accurately fill out all paperwork
- Must have the ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Must be able to work from elevated platforms and climb stairs
- Must be able to work 12 hours without access to any nicotine-based products, including vape pens.
SHIFT SCHEDULE:
- The Techs that are hired should be willing to work 5:45a to 6p or 5:45p to 6a as we may need to fill either day or night shifts. The extra 15 minutes is for shift turnover.
- The rotation is also Week 1: Mon/Tues, Fri/Sat and Week 2: Sun and Wed/Thus. They will not rotate days and nights.
NOTE: Client will give them a definite shift to work the entirety of their time, but they want the workers to be willing to work any of the 4 shifts they have.
Responsibilities:
A Chemical Operator will:
- Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Ability to work well with others to solve problems.
- Operates process equipment to maintain products within customer specifications.
- Works from specific written or verbal instructions and operating procedures
- Follow all safety regulations.
- Must be able to understand and respond to various notifications, both visual and audible, unless otherwise
- Daily operation of a forklift to move products in and out of the production area. Note that forklift operation is not a full time job, it is just part of the daily job.
