Job: Laboratory Technician 1

Candidates must be available to work any shift, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Complete biological laboratory analysis of products, processes, and/or environments according to the established parameters.
• Document the analyses and test results performed.
• Prepare media and solutions for use in the laboratory.
• Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Responsible for executing assigned tasks according to the needs of the operational area.
• Provide assistance to operations in accordance with Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety systems (AEI-18cS) and promote continuous improvement.

Education:

• Associate Degree in Natural Sciences, Biology, Microbiology, or Chemistry.

Experience / Skills Required: 

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of analytical instruments.
• Basic knowledge of computerized systems.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
